Here we are ! Already at half championship of this fantastic season (for now the best medium attendence in the history 32.83 people per race... I cross the fingers hoping it'll continue like that or better.. we were so close to beat the attendence record on one race), where the winner of the GWR in 2009 is clearly taking the place of man to beat from jo.sk. Alexsara79 made an excellent race not perfect but really impressing. :bowdown: He takes back his six points of advantage against maclape and the front trio seems to have made the difference for the final podium, but that's still to be shown !

This beautiful track made by Andreas Hultgren (if we except the stands troubles..) gave us lots of fights and a really indecisiv (and unpredictable) show. On four merged replays out of six we have seen positions changes's in the last chicane !!! That was the case for Alx.it "against" maclape, for Momo "against" haq & LongBow, for SpL "against" Gnappo and also for Mad Mack "against" Albomino & Pierlerally. :fight: As you can watch on the PFcard the result of quiet every those fights was very close until the end !

Two historical facts before the race analysis, the first fastest lap of Hangman :bg: who became the 22th differents Fastlapers (strangely that's the same number than the differents podiumers but the list isn't the same). Congrats, now objectiv a podium and the fight for the Seaon's card !

On this great recreation of the famous Canadian track of Mosport we only could see beautifuls racing actions ! :popcorn: The great drive of the leader of the compo, the purchase of Rich.K, or the stunning duel for the last podium place between Alx.it & maclape. But not only as the fights were everywhere. The crucial points were the stands of course, to be aggresiv but avoiding some walls (first, second corner and at the exit of the hairpin) and avoiding the sunk tyres was also important as the last chicane. A very interesting track indeed.. too bad the stands weren't safe.

The championship is still really open and full of interesting questions (the order of the seasonal podiumer, the composition of the member of the season's cards,...). You can see easily (now) the ups & downs of last week. Which naturally brings me to the congrats, starting with the podiumers : alexsara79, Rich.K & Alx.it congrats guys ! Then congrats to the people who made a GAS particularly to Vilkku making a two pit-stops strategy was already a performance... I can tell it, I failed at that.. BTW I'll bring you the statistic's files with the login times later this week updated for the half season.
I had to penalise Medal89 but he achieved to beat eleven drivers and so to double his round's score.

The special congrats goes to : Cristiano Bohessef, Wilf, Quklis, & Marck :clap: for reaching their best performance so far ! Congrats also to the driver who again equaled it : Mizzamar

Damn, that's quiet one hour that I write this report... I guess, it's time to finish it. The position picture is taked after 2 minutes and 19 seconds, everyone is at the right place (more or less) but I artificially placed dalbom, Mad Mack & Marck as they were already laped by alexsara79 when Tony entered for first in the pits.

The PF card shows the fantastics fights I mentionned earlier, with on the left the closest one between TuomoH & AleksiNir (0.11s) with also akouk a little bit before them (0.35s). Then on the right you find in the order from up to down : Alx.it & maclape (0.33s), jo.sk & Luketes (0.32s), SpL & Gnappo (0.33s), Albomino & Pierlerally (0.35s), Momo 0.43s ahead of haq & LongBow (0.15s) whereas he was behind them before the last chicane. Finally you can see the finish between Ms... & dalbom (0.63s). Thank you everyone and keep on racing ! You are the ToM circus. :ghug:

Faut dire qu'il y a du laisser aller... je pensais être loin vu le peu de temps que j'ai roulé.. Mais non, deuxième ! Incroyable.. et c'est déjà la deuxième fois que je gagne une place pour avoir envoyé avant, moi qui envoie presque toujours au dernier moment !

Voilà les résultats de la 5ème manche..


Sorry for the long delay.. you've to be patient with me, this week was special as I had formation in more of the work.. The world is crazy and we are (in switzerland and at least in my speciality) submerged by the paperwork like in the movie Brasil from Terry Gilliam. Beside that, I had to take one of the hardest decision I had to do as compo owner. I'd like to say thank you to my friends/advisors for their opinions on this case, that helped me to share my doubts with you and I could arrive at the best solution IMHO.

:woohoo: that's a very delayed joy.. but more for saying thanks to Ivo who found this smilie and for joining the club of the podiumers with all cars ! .. strangely that's the same as the people who raced in all the ToM events...

So, here you are a summarize of the Gipiesse's case.. Logically Momo should have a warning as he had connection troubles and had to send me his files via mail.. after 54 minutes. Even if I trust him (as it was his 16th ToM race and his files were always ok), there was some additionals problems (wrong bmp with curious times..) which I'll not give you full details. Usually I accept the files if they don't pass the login-window + less than a race time (but it'll depend on your files's times..), so for this event let say more or less 48 minutes. Alone the problem of bmp, isn't a problem in ToM as long as you send the good one as soon as possible, but all those little things additioned (and some doubts) are just too much (I've to guarantish the equity of the compo) and I'm the judge... so, sorry Momo but you are warned and penalised. You'll have to wait a little bit more for your second victory. :schrug:

The misfortune of some make the happiness of some others, so maclape became the 14th ToM winner on 53 races. It's nonetheless totally deserved as he was the one who resisted the longer at Momo's acceleration. Speaking of him, he didn't loosed everything as he reach (already) Alx.it in the ToM's records with 4 FL in a season. So, this event on DiSi!'s track was totally historical ; first victory for maclape and spain, and my podium with the last car I missed :woohoo: sorry I adore this smilie. Finally congrats to maclape, the formula is officially your car.

As you could see, you had to be aggressiv on this track and to take risks (but not too much)... at this game Momo was the best but strangely the three fastest drivers made an NWP.. In fact, personnaly I hesitated very long and finally decided to stop 4 times but my strategy wasn't very well achieved, so we could all be faster...
Momo and maclape found the best mix between attack and regularity, but the interest of the race was behind.. With the beautiful fight we've seen for exemple between Alx.it & alexsara79 (finally for the last place of the podium) or between Takaya & Albomino. We slowly arrives at the middle of the season and for the first time in ToM history we didn't see a driver winning two races.. 5 races, 5 differents winners !!

So, it was an hard and challenging track and the best strategy was probably with 4 stops, but you had to be aggressiv all the long and lucky with the overtakings. With this result, the leader of the compo loosed half of his advance but keep the lead thanks to his 4th place. Congrats to him and to the podiumers. We can notice also that the level is really high and that our rookies are progressing. :bg:

Changement de domaine, vu les problèmes d'instabilité... en fait, l'hébergeur gratuit qu'on utilisait ne supportait pas bien le traffic apparemment.

Maintenant c'est plus stable et rapide (c'est plus petit), mais ça reste un peu provisoire.. vu qu'on attend toujours des nouvelles de James et d'Hannu.

Sorry for the long delay :tom: folks (wow we have our own similie !! Thanks Ivo ! But the limitation at ten of them... made me withdraw a bowdown instead of this sentence), I was busy, tired and a little bit ill those last evenings, so I only could finish the work now. Before the season, I hoped we would race on Rochernoir for this round (as it's a beautiful track) but HodginWoods by Flaming Wuzzle and his excellent hmap gave us a really interesting race. With lots of overtaking, beautiful fights and stunning finishes !
The race was dominated by the two italian legends of GR, as only alexsara79 could take two laps in the lead at Alx.it. So, with those good results Alx.it reach jo.sk on the ToM victories numbers (as announced !?! now it should be my turn.. :sweatdrop: ) and alexsara79 reach his 3rd podium in a row ! :clap: Congrats guys. Excellent performances also from akouk (4th podiums), Momo (3rd Fastest lap in a row !) and Hangman (we had a nice fight). :fight: :hshake:

With 4 differents winners on 4 races, the season is really interesting (let's hope it'll continue like that) :flip: and alexsara79 take the lead (and the pressure) of it. Now, he is close to equal the record of podium in row (4) and Momo can equal Alx.it's record of 4 FL in a season !

Bad luck guys : maclape, jo.sk, AleksiNir & JoBar ... Not really a NWP, but lots of time loose by Mizzamar with a terrible pit-stop and for Ivo with his fuel trouble...


The track itself was hard enough for making the differences and so, the strategy wasn't really significativ here... even if nobody really tried something different from the 3 stops strategy... The pit-stops actions were crucial as lots of drivers hitted the wall in the pit-entrance. The others key points were the two chicanes IMO.
A good point about this race is that everyone one made all the laps and as it's a quiet long track, we can easily follow the beautifuls fights we had.
So, congrats to Alx.it for his 9th victory in the ToM circus and of course to the others podiumers : alexsara79 & akouk :clap:
But the special congrats goes to LongBow, Cristiano Bohessef, Albomino & Mad Mack for their best performances so far in the league. :bg: For the first time this season, haq wasn't the best rookie. Now, the championship is still really open (even if logically alexsara79 is leading with 3 podiums on 4 races), with fights everywhere. Speaking about that, the PFcard shows well that it was an indecisiv race. You can guess the unbelievable finish (0.03s) between haq & Gnappo twice on the left. Then you have the fights between Buka & dalbom, Luketes, jo.sk & AleksiNir, Raska & Hangman, Vilkku & maclape and finally between Mizzamar & Mad Mack ! :force: Awesome, thank you gentlemen !

The position picture is taked after 2 minutes and 13 seconds. That's after 5 laps, just before JoBar made his first pit-stop. This time, no standing on the picture as we can easily see where we are and how we where at the begining of the race.

Merci de nous avoir donné ton avis. Evidemment puisqu'on est d'accord mais ça me semble clair.

Juste parce que je suis un chipoteur...

On est bien d'accord que ce qui semble évident à l'organisateur n'est pas suffisant et il faut que ce soit explicitement marqué dans les règles.


Après au niveau du GWR, je pense que tu as raison. Par contre, on pourrait imaginer de rajouter qqch. à ce propos dans les règles. J'aime bien l'idée 2...


Tout autre chose, on (JTarJ, toi et moi) devrait peut-être bosser sur un tutorial pour organisateur de compo en particulier login, mais aussi anti-triche, etc... Parce que la relève des organisateurs a de la peine à pointer son nez.

Admettons c'est une faille... Mais c'est une faille du règlement de la f1cup et de la voiture proposée par la f1cup, donc c'est une faille du/des organisateurs de la f1cup. Je l'ai remarqué en jouant moins d'une demi-heure...

Tu veux pas assumer... dommage tu vas juste perdre des participants. [Sarcasme mode=ON]Et puis.. il faut surtout pas me répondre ni clarifier/annoncer tes décisions..[/Sarcasme] T'as préféré choisir une solution qui n'en est pas une et qui a créé d'autres problèmes... Et puis, tu retournes le problème, c'est aux organisateurs de prévoir ce genre de chose.

Maintenant tu peux continuer à faire l'autruche, le têtu et ignorer mes posts.. si ça peut te faire plaisir de jouer au petit dictateur.


Que les organisateurs changent leurs règlements durant une manche devrait être interdit par le GWR. Les pilotes ne devraient pas avoir à subir des organisateurs démotivés ou incompétents. Si on change les règles en cours de route ou pire après coup (comme c'est le cas), c'est plus une compétition.

C'est pas la question. Mais merci.


Par contre, non je pense que ce genre de choses doivent être discutée publiquement et pas par mail. C'est d'ailleurs un peu dommage que la discussion qu'on a eu avec JTarJ ce soit faite par mail (mais jo.sk était témoin..).. et qu'il n'en a absolument pas tenu compte.
Je comprends bien le raisonnement qui le pousse a agir de la sorte (garantir l'équité et éviter la triche) et même si je ne partage pas sa façon de le faire (strict et rigide) [et que je comprends pas ses dernières décisions], ça part d'un bon sentiment, et puis c'est lui qui décide mais c'est dommageable pour la communauté (juste dans ce/s cas particulier/s) à mon avis. Il faut absolument que tu sois plus compréhensif/tolérant/accueillant en particulier pour le GRC.
Ceci dit, ça n'enlève en rien de l'excellent travail que James fait (a fait et continue à faire) pour la communauté.

Non, tu ne m'as pas prévenu par mail... C'est moi qui t'ai demandé pourquoi je n'étais pas pénalisé mais tu n'as jamais dis que je l'étais aussi... Et puis, il faut le faire officiellement et pas par mail ! Pourquoi tu n'as rien dit dans le thread officiel ?

Et tu sait très bien, que je trouves pas correct ta façon de faire... Tu as changé les règles après la course en question et pour moi, il aurait été mieux que tu pénalises personnes (ou bien tout le monde). Mais non, tu assumes pas tes erreurs et tu dégoutes les joueurs...

Ce que toi, tu m'as dis par mail, c'est 1) que t'avais pas vérifier jusqu'à la 7-8e place, que t'avais pas bien lu les posts dans le thread officiel et que pour toi c'est du wallbounce. Sauf, que tu l'as précisé APRèS dans les règles que le wallbounce c'est aussi les arbres. Donc on a rien fait de contraire aux règles au moment où on a joué, c'est toi qui les as changés après coup et ça, c'est un procédé digne d'une dictature ou d'une police fascisante (genre on tabasse et on arrête avant de "trouvé"/créer les preuves). Légalement t'aurais aucune chance... mais évidemment on ne va pas en arriver là.
Maintenant, il faudra aussi que tu répondes à akouk sur gr.f1...

This strange track from Jak_GR is a very original and somewhere crazy creation... Half skijump and half racing place, so a perfect place for driving a sidamob !! :flip: Well, it wasn't for sure the more adapted mix and I understand it couldn't please everyone. What's sure, is that the reigning champion :king: felt it very well and the black rocket, after a relativ slow start, taked off ! Only alexsara79 could follow him and avoid to be lapped... :eyes:
That's says much about jo.sk performance, beware the champion is back and now he has alone the record of victories ! :clap:

The strategies weren't as important as the jumping part and the regularity, but it's interesting to see that we could be performant with every of the four possible strategies. In fact, we found the best drivers using those four differents strategies in the top5 !

It was a spectacular race, what more natural, with jumps of quiet 75 meters with a sidamob !!! :faint: 3 races and 3 differents winners, 9th victory for jo.sk, then alexsara79 and Momo for completing the podium. :bg: Congrats guys, very impressive performances ! :clap:
The championship's leader miss his third podium in a row, but keep the lead with his 4th place. Now, everything can happen.. as Rich (and me) could see, some little mistakes and you're out of the top10, now it'll be harder for us to comeback.. but that can also be a supplement of motivation. The level is really high ! :rocks:

It was a less technical and hard race than RampSides, but a test of concentration and of precision. Jo.sk as an excellent downhill specialist knows how to jump and of course how to take precise trajectory. He makes us all feel rusty or slow but as Vilkku said, he is just amazing when he get his fingers in the right place (& moment) ! So, congrats to jo.sk and of course the others podiumers alexsara79 & Momo, the best african driver ever in ToM also made his second fastest lap in a row ! :clap:

The rookies championship is also interesting and haq was again the best of them.. but the two new faces weren't away and could give him troubles for the next races. The special congrats goes to them, as they reached their best performance : LongBow, Cristiano Bohessef, GRaucho & Mizzamar ! That's was logical in the case of LongBow and Mizzamar (very first race) but they will improve. :up:

Unfortunately on a such small track, the positions pictures had to be made very early..as Mad Mack, Ms... and GRaucho should have worked a little bit more their start IMO. Then it's a little bit messy, particularly between jo.sk, AleksiNir, TuomoH, Alx.it and Hangman. Then there is also a bunch of drivers, with Vilkku and Gnappo quiet at the same place.. BTW everyone is at his real position this time. It's interesting to see the movement of positions from there and the final standing.
The PFcard show the finish between Alx.it & Luketes for the 5th place. You can also see the next closest finish between Tony & Vilkku for the 9th place.

C'était vraiment sympa et adapté, la voiture est nettement mieux que celle de la saison 14.. Bravo !


Bon par contre c'est juste pour participer, vu que j'ai fais qu'une quarantaine de tours et tous aujourd'hui. Bonne chance aux autres ! Et voyons, combien au-dessous des 8 secondes on pouvait aller...

Exact... il était nettement mieux parti.. par contre la fin de sa course a été un peu chaotique... et vous finissez à 23 centièmes !!
